Formation Classrooms, Tools and Texts
Kindergarten:
Our Kindergarten Classroom curriculum is lead by Faith First from RCL Benziger. Learn more about your kindergartner's faith development at this link. The Faith Concepts for Kindergarten may be found here.
Eucharist Preparation:
Eucharist One (First Grade) represents our first year of Sacrament Preparation for Reconciliation and Communion. Our text is Blest Are We - Faith in Action. We are utilizing the Parish Grade 2 text as it provides the groundwork of Being Catholic, Forgiveness, Scripture, The Eucharist, and Living Out Our Faith.
Renewed (Reconciliation Prep) and Received (Communion Prep) by Ascension Press create the backdrop for our Eucharist Two (Second Grade) lessons. Building upon our Eucharist One foundation, our students are introduced the video friends and families who accompany them on the second year of their preparation and growth. View the trailer for Renewed and Received here. Reconciliation is celebrated in Advent and First Holy Communion is in the Easter Season.
3rd-6th Grades:
"Christ Our Life" by Loyola Press will serve as our main program for third through sixth graders.
Confirmation 1 and 2:
Our Confirmation preparation is a two year experience (7th and 8th Grades). Ascension Press' CHOSEN and Connected accompany our teens as they dive deeply into the mysteries of our faith. Through formation and service, they come to recognize themselves as young adults who are chosen and ready to step more fully into the life of the Spirit and the life of the Church.
Non-Traditional Aged Sacrament Preparation:
For children who are beyond the traditional age for receiving a sacrament, we offer two formation and preparation classes designed especially for them. Both our OCIC (Order of Christian Initiation for Children for elementary aged children) and OCIT (Order of Christian Initiation for Teens for middle and high schoolers) are classes specifically designed to firmly root our students in our Catholic Faith while encouraging them to develop a personal relationship with God and a community relationship with His Church.
Register Now. Classes are filling and will begin on August 18. Online Registration and payment are available on this page below the calendar. Registering and paying online is our preferred method.
