music / choir

Under the direction and guidance of Ryan Cooper, Saint Ann Parish offers many opportunities for the musically gifted and talented parishioners.  All are welcome to join the music and worship activities that we offer.

cantor

Cantors lead the singing as Masses, Holy Day Masses and special celebrations. Potential cantors are chosen from the choir and invited to take part in this ministry.  Ongoing training is provided.

children's choir

The Children’s choir is a combination of both Saint Ann School and PRE students. Any child from grade 2 to grade 8 is welcome to join! The children's choir practices on Thursdays from 5:45 until 6:30 in the choir room. The children's choir usually sings two Sundays a month at the 8:30 Mass with an arrival time of 7:50am.

For more information, contact Tricia Cooper at [email protected] or [email protected].

handbell

The Youth Handbell Choir is comprised of Saint Ann School students who play for school masses, the Christmas Concert, Christmas Eve mass, Easter, and occasional Sunday masses. We welcome young parishioners who attend other schools to join us!

For more information, contact Carol Caesar at

ACCOMPANISTS / INSTRUMENTALISTS

Pianists and instrumentalists are always needed for the wide variety of musical activity within our parish.  We are always in need of string, woodwinds and percussion players for all of our masses ; brass players are needed particularly during Christmas and Easter  seasons. Pianists are needed to occasionally substitute for mass  and help with rehearsals. Instruments enhance the liturgy and provide that special touch to our music for worship.
