Welcome to Saint Ann's Parish VocationS Ministry Page!
Saint Ann's Vocation Ministry is an active group that prays for and supports vocations to the priesthood, religious life, and consecrated life.
Two years ago, the Vocation Office for the Catholic Diocese of Memphis requested that each parish within the diocese establish a group dedicated to increasing the number of diocesan vocations. In response to this request, the Vocation Ministry at Saint Ann was created.

This year, Saint Ann's Vocation Ministry received the Ministry in Action Award.
We meet every third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm in the Church Conference Room. The meeting lasts about an hour. We usually start with a potluck dinner, and after dinner, we discuss upcoming vocation events and new ideas to promote vocations in the parish.
We invite you to participate in some of our initiatives:
|
Seminarian Post Office – Show your support for every seminarian assigned to our parish. In the narthex, you will find the “Seminarian Post Office,” where you can learn more about these young men. Feel free to send them notes of appreciation and encouragement. Notes are a great way to show support. Afterward, please drop your notes in the special mailbox in the narthex, and we will mail them for you. Thank you for supporting seminarians Billy Neal (St. Ann’s Vocation), Vinicius de Oliveira, and Michael Zafuto. Please keep them in your prayers!

Vocation Chalice Program - Support vocations by participating in the “Vocation Chalice” Program. Consider hosting the chalice in your home for a week and praying for vocations. Sign-up sheets are available in the narthex near the “Seminarian Post Office,” and you can also find them by clicking here.

Called by Name - "Called by Name" is a program meant to encourage laity, deacons, and priests to identify men in our diocese to discern the priesthood. It is our belief that there are many men in our diocese who have the call to the priesthood and are just waiting to be asked. If you know someone who might have a calling, fill out the form by clicking here.
The seminarians of the Catholic Diocese of Memphis are preparing to embark on a pilgrimage to deepen their faith, experience the beauty of the universal Church, and grow in fraternity.
May 17–23, 2026, they will travel to Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City. Most of the funds have already been raised, but we still need $28,000 to reach our goal. Your generous support—of any amount—will make a real difference in helping our future priests grow in faith and service. Thank you for your kindness and prayers! https://www.shelbygiving.com/App/Form/6bf35c8d-b9a6-4579-aaaa-5587d1666042 |
